Örjan Forssell started the match with the kick off. Llope Ojeda hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. 6 minutes into the match, Deportivo Peñarol FIFV's goal looked a bit too open when Mariano Lacasa came free, but Petru Nisporeanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Deportivo Peñarol FIFV booed when Chile was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pedro Indiano didn't get a good kick on the ball. 10 minutes into the match, Deportivo Peñarol FIFV's goal looked a bit too open when Mariano Lacasa came free, but Petru Nisporeanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Örjan Forssell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 34th minute of play forced Deportivo Peñarol FIFV's goalkeeper Petru Nisporeanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mariano Lacasa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Örjan Forssell kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mariano Lacasa to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Örjan Forssell in the 52nd minute of play forced Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 59 minutes into the match, Chile's goal looked a bit too open when Örjan Forssell came free, but Thiago Pliego reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 60 minutes into the match, Deportivo Peñarol FIFV's goalkeeper Petru Nisporeanu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mariano Lacasa. In the 62nd minute, Mariano Lacasa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. César Menot kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. When Mariano Lacasa came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Chile fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mariano Lacasa couldn't finish the play. Cortez Morera hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Deportivo Peñarol FIFV's Petru Nisporeanu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save Deportivo Peñarol FIFV from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Peñarol FIFV's Llope Ojeda got a free kick in the 83rd minute. In the 85thth minute of the game Liu Yan Yan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chile's Thiago Pliego was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Petru Nisporeanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mariano Lacasa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Chile defense, Örjan Forssell kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Thiago Pliego. The Chile fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Thiago Pliego should have stopped the shot. Chile were awarded a corner in the 97th minute after Deportivo Peñarol FIFV's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Mariano Lacasa took the corner. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
