Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. The supporters of Nordestão Futebol Clube booed when Haiti was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felix Dorval didn't get a good kick on the ball. Haiti's attentive Ernso Constant managed to snatch the ball when Dedê Negri made a throw-in in the 13th minute of the game. In the 15th minute Roger Mesquita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Noel Seide saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sebastião Mattos made in the 20th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Roger Mesquita immediately put the ball in play. Ernso Constant kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. 28 minutes into the match, Haiti's goal looked a bit too open when Roger Mesquita came free, but Noel Seide reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gil Carioca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ernso Constant, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Dedê Negri got a throw-in 33 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Erasmo Loureiro. After having played for 37 minutes, Gesner Philippe managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Haiti's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gesner Philippe was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 39th minute, Jonathan Alphonse hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Antônio Tinoco hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jonathan Alphonse stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Noel Seide took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Östen Svanér, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Noel Seide made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roger Mesquita in the 61st minute of play. 64 minutes into the match, Haiti's goal looked a bit too open when Roger Mesquita came free, but Noel Seide reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Noel Seide took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roger Mesquita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Roger Mesquita's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Noel Seide was relentless in the 70th minute of the game. After 73 minutes of play, Nordestão Futebol Clube's Östen Svanér made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Noel Seide was left in no man's land by his defense there! Noel Seide made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Östen Svanér in the 76th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Östen Svanér in the 83rd minute of play forced Haiti's goalkeeper Noel Seide to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Haiti's Ernso Constant got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Nordestão Futebol Clube had played much better football throughout.
