Andres Oper started the match with the kick off. In the 16th match minute, Strib Galacticos IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sivart Djursgård to maneuver through the defense. In a very dangerous position, a player in Strib Galacticos IF fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 20th minute. Penalty! After 24 played minutes Strib Galacticos IF got a freekick which was hit by Timo Rokmann. In the 28th minute, Zhao Xiong Han reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Dante Lacasa. The goal made the score 1-1. The supporters of Mexico booed when Strib Galacticos IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valdemar Ginhart didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 31st minute, Valdemar Ginhart hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 34 minutes into the match, Lautaro Mancebo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gunvald Glarkrog. Strib Galacticos IF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lautaro Mancebo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andres Oper, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. After 42 played minutes Strib Galacticos IF got a freekick which was hit by Vlad Pâslaru. In the 48th match minute, Strib Galacticos IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sivart Djursgård to maneuver through the defense. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

Gunvald Glarkrog showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luca Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. After having played for 54 minutes, Joel Gaona managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mexico's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joel Gaona was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Zhao Xiong Han received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Dante Lacasa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zhao Xiong Han in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dante Lacasa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Luca Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gunvald Glarkrog having to interfere. In the 66th minute, Joel Gaona fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Alberto Tafalla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Gunvald Glarkrog tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gunvald Glarkrog made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Lautaro Mancebo sent off a good shot on target. Gunvald Glarkrog showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Gaona, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Strib Galacticos IF's Gunvald Glarkrog played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 83rd minute of play. Lautaro Mancebo came free with the goalkeeper in the 88th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Gunvald Glarkrog could save by the left post. When Alberto Tafalla came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Mexico fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alberto Tafalla couldn't finish the play. After 91 minutes of play, Strib Galacticos IF's Hagbard Ribov made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dante Lacasa was left in no man's land by his defense there! Strib Galacticos IF's Hagbard Ribov got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Mexico players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
