Jonathan Venegas hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Severiano Campelo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 74th minute of the game. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Severiano Campelo, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. The supporters of Nascente do Leça booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Correa didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Severiano Campelo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by Nascente do Leça's Severiano Campelo. But to his dismay, Severiano Campelo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Nascente do Leça fans cheered their team off the field, for while Venezuela had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
