Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Daniel Zorita took the kick off in the first half of the match. Felix Montenegro's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 4thth minute, Igor Siekierski skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Igor Siekierski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristian Sancho in the 8th minute. Luis Andino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Brow Team's Igor Siekierski got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Ecuador's Daniel Zorita slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Igor Siekierski. That made the score 1-0 after 16 minutes of play. In the 19th match minute, Brow Team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jerzy Ciempa to maneuver through the defense. Igor Siekierski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Brow Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mariusz Mroczynski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Igor Siekierski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristian Sancho in the 26th minute. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bogumil Wawro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Daniel Zorita's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Igor Siekierski firmly grabbed it by the left post. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mariusz Mroczynski, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. After 39 minutes Ecuador's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Andrzej Cichocki who took care of the corner kick. 40 minutes into the match, Brow Team's goalkeeper Igor Siekierski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

Brow Team's Franciszek Modliszewski was substituted for Bogumil Wawro. Brow Team's Kryspin Owsiak was substituted for Jerzy Ciempa. After having played for 57 minutes, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristian Sancho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Mariusz Mroczynski tried to sneak it across the goal line. Felix Montenegro kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Brow Team's zone, Cristian Sancho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Igor Siekierski came out of the goal and Cristian Sancho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 81 minutes into the match, Brow Team's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Igor Siekierski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Franciszek Modliszewski in the 83rd minute of the match. In the 85th minute of the match Brow Team got a corner. Ecuador's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Andrzej Cichocki ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Andrzej Cichocki got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Julio Vera quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Mariusz Mroczynski tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Agustín Saelices hit a great ball. Daniel Zorita hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. In the 97th minute, Czeslaw Tipinski ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Julio Vera was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Ecuador players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
