Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tahsin Elçioğlu in the 8th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rolando Noboa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Tahsin Elçioğlu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rolando Noboa was relentless in the 8th minute of the game. Kropotkins pojkar's Per-Arne Vidman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 10th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Julian Murillo in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Per-Arne Vidman saved Kropotkins pojkar from getting behind. 13 minutes into the game, Peru's Julian Murillo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Per-Arne Vidman made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Eliseo Mina took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 18th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Per-Arne Vidman. Kropotkins pojkar's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustavo-Hernán Vallejo in the 19th minute of play. Julian Murillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Per-Arne Vidman read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. 25 minutes into the match, Kropotkins pojkar's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Per-Arne Vidman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 27th minute of the match Peru got a corner. Kropotkins pojkar's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Luz Tejedor ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Peru's Luz Tejedor to fire away a dangerous shot which Per-Arne Vidman despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Julian Murillo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 34 minutes had been played when some careless play by Kropotkins pojkar's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Luz Tejedor was slow to take the kick. During this time Peru's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Peru's corner Luz Tejedor fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Per-Arne Vidman quite easily take care of the ball. The supporters of Kropotkins pojkar booed when Peru was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joaquin Prats didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rolando Noboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albano Boni, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Per-Arne Vidman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luz Tejedor in the 39th minute of the match. Kropotkins pojkar were awarded a corner in the 90th minute after Peru's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Peder Lidström took the corner. Kropotkins pojkar's Peder Lidström was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Rolando Noboa in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Peru's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
