An unexpectedly hard shot by Pāvils Ežkāja in the 10th minute of play forced Jamaica's goalkeeper Demonde Jacobson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ainis Sudrabkalējs showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Finlay Stair in the 11th minute of the match. FK LOHATRONI's Ainis Sudrabkalējs played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Romon Oliver in the 13th minute of play. 15 minutes into the match, Pāvils Ežkāja notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Jamaica's Demonde Jacobson. Demonde Jacobson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 20 minutes into the match, Finlay Stair had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ainis Sudrabkalējs. FK LOHATRONI's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Finlay Stair was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Finlay Stair was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 26th minute. Jamaica's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. FK LOHATRONI's defense didn't have a chance, in the 27th minute, when Romon Oliver scored to the left of an out of position Ainis Sudrabkalējs, making the score, 2-2. When Wayan Freeman fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Jamaica's protests and gave Wayan Freeman a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of FK LOHATRONI booed when Jamaica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wayan Freeman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Demonde Jacobson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pāvils Ežkāja in the 32nd minute of play. In the 34th minute, Jamaica's Geroy Ascue seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Geroy Ascue the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Jamaica protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Geroy Ascue had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 38 minutes into the match, Jamaica's goal looked a bit too open when Pāvils Ežkāja came free, but Demonde Jacobson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Karlus Waugh stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of FK LOHATRONI booed when Jamaica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kordal Duff didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jamaica's Romon Oliver got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Demonde Jacobson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zemgus Lovnieks, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. In the 94th minute, Romon Oliver made a precise shot to the right of Ainis Sudrabkalējs. FK LOHATRONI's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-6.
