Spectators: 47 (Terracing: 36, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Ola Lund got the match started through his kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ola Lund in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dante Lacasa saved Mexico from getting behind. In the 9th minute Garsås IF were awarded a corner. Archie Brodie went to the cornerflag to take it. The crowd rose to their feet as Alberto Tafalla kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Alfons Sjö. That made the score 1-0 in the 11 minute of play. Garsås IF's Alfons Sjö played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 14th minute of play. Alfons Sjö came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by Mexico's Facundo Cadaval. But to his dismay, Facundo Cadaval quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. 21 minutes into the match, Garsås IF's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Gaona came free, but Alfons Sjö reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Garsås IF getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Archie Brodie hit a great ball. In the 27thth minute of the game Joel Gaona who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Garsås IF's Alfons Sjö was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Göran Lindholm during the 30th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 30th match minute, Garsås IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Göran Lindholm to maneuver through the defense. After 34 played minutes Garsås IF got a freekick which was hit by Maicon Pereira. Alfons Sjö acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 35th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Joel Gaona. In the 37th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Garsås IF were awarded a corner in the 38th minute after Mexico's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Archie Brodie took the corner. A well-hit corner resulted in Bror Ståhlman heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Alfons Sjö made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 45th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Joel Gaona stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Garsås IF's attentive Enrico Cesaroni managed to snatch the ball when Felix Luque made a throw-in in the 51st minute of the game. Lautaro Mancebo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alfons Sjö made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 58th minute of play. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ola Lund in the 59th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Mexico defense, Ola Lund kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dante Lacasa. The Mexico fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dante Lacasa should have stopped the shot. In the 73rd minute, Ola Lund left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Garsås IF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Garsås IF made a substitution. Morgan Norberg replaced Enrico Cesaroni. The throw-in from Leonardo Leoz in the 83rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Garsås IF's Morgan Norberg. The supporters of Garsås IF booed when Mexico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lorenzo Cazalla didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 88th minute, Joel Gaona made a precise shot to the right of Alfons Sjö. Garsås IF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. Lorenzo Cazalla kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. In the 95th minute, Archie Brodie hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mexico's Joel Gaona couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 96th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Garsås IF. For all the effort they put into the match, the Garsås IF players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Mexico.
