Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dario Benedetto made the kick off and thus started the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Venezuela's Tomas Illescas slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Genaro Sindo. That made the score 1-0 after 3 minutes of play. Tomas Illescas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 11 minutes Venezuela's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jacinto Mincho who took care of the corner kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Venezuela's goalie and right to Dario Benedetto. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Venezuela's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. The audience was convinced that Dario Benedetto's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. Jacinto Mincho might have been able to make a better finish in the 17th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jonathan Ferrant. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jacinto Mincho ran back to his position shaking his head. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Radamel-Falcao García managed to get in a good position for a shot. La Cienaga's supporters rose to their feet, but Radamel-Falcao García was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alonzo Botello in the 30th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 31 minutes had been played when some careless play by Venezuela's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jacinto Mincho was slow to take the kick. During this time La Cienaga's players had a chance to rest. In the 33rd minute of the match, Patricio Costa tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Genaro Sindo saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Dario Benedetto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Ferrant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. After 35 minutes Venezuela's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jacinto Mincho who took care of the corner kick. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Radamel-Falcao García, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. After 40 minutes, Radamel-Falcao García made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Radamel-Falcao García, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dario Benedetto in the 47th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tomas Illescas to strike the kick off in the second half. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Genaro Sindo having to interfere. Tomas Illescas might have been able to make a better finish in the 55th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Genaro Sindo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tomas Illescas ran back to his position shaking his head. Jose Correa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Genaro Sindo having to make a save. The audience cheered when Jose Correa's long shot passed Genaro Sindo's right side. It was 2-1, 58 minutes into the match. 61 minutes into the match, La Cienaga's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Illescas came free, but Genaro Sindo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When La Cienaga's Dario Benedetto in the 62nd minute got a chance for a shot 62nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Venezuela's goalie prevented a goal. If Alonzo Botello had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Radamel-Falcao García sent off a good shot on target. Venezuela's defense didn't have a chance, in the 69th minute, when Radamel-Falcao García scored to the left of an out of position Jonathan Ferrant, making the score, 2-2. In the 71st match minute, La Cienaga was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Radamel-Falcao García to maneuver through the defense. In the 74th minute, La Cienaga's Alonzo Botello dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-3. Jonathan Ferrant was out of position in the 79 minute of play, and Dario Benedetto capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Dario Benedetto really showed his touch with that goal: 2-4. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Radamel-Falcao García in the 81st minute. Genaro Sindo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tomas Illescas's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. Radamel-Falcao Garcías short, quick shot in the 87thth minute got Jonathan Ferrant to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Camilo Gaos got a free kick in the 88th minute. Milad Rouhi made in the 91st minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Vinny Turell however managed to control. In the 96th minute Dario Benedetto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. La Cienaga's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
