Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Chris Bateman took the kick off in the first half of the match. 3 minutes into the match, Chris Bateman had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Chris Bateman was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. After 10 minutes of play, Recolta Alamor's Wes Nichols made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Chris Bateman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 15th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomas Illescas to maneuver through the defense. Patricio Costa charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Patricio Costa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 22nd minute, Patricio Costa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 23 minutes into the match, Recolta Alamor's Chris Bateman sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonathan Ferrant narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 25th minute Recolta Alamor were awarded a corner. Cyprian Rosen went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Recolta Alamor's Cyprian Rosen to fire away a dangerous shot which Jonathan Ferrant despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 30 minutes into the match, Chris Bateman had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chris Bateman in the 35th minute of the match. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Chris Bateman in the 46th minute. After 47 minutes, Tomas Illescas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Venezuela and the Recolta Alamor players grew even worse after the yellow card.

The wind increased when Tomas Illescas made the kick off in the second half. After having played for 51 minutes, Patricio Costa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Patricio Costa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Yoel Quevedo made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Tomas Illescas sent off a good shot on target. Jerrod Dickinson kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Patricio Costa got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Chris Bateman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chris Bateman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Allan Caudill hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Norman Donnelly in the 78th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Recolta Alamor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Brandon Newby didn't get a good kick on the ball. Patricio Costa struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Yoel Quevedo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Venezuela. After 88 played minutes Recolta Alamor got a freekick which was hit by Emmanuel Pennington. After a rather tough play, Recolta Alamor's Jerrod Dickinson got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Yoel Quevedo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. There was no doubt that Recolta Alamor were the better team. Recolta Alamor's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
