Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Dadá Torres started the match with the kick off. Claudinho Moura showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 3rd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Zorita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Claudinho Moura breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 8th minute, Luis Andino left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 13th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. AS Pikachuzim's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. 15 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Claudinho Moura narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 16th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felix Montenegro to maneuver through the defense. Felix Montenegro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claudinho Moura having to interfere. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claudinho Moura having to interfere. 27 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Claudinho Moura made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 38th minute, Daniel Zorita ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Claudinho Moura was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. In the 40th minute, Dadá Torres hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 42nd minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claudinho Moura saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in AS Pikachuzim's zone, Daniel Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Claudinho Moura came out of the goal and Daniel Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gil Vale during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Luis Andino might have been able to make a better finish in the 47th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Claudinho Moura. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Luis Andino ran back to his position shaking his head. After the first half Ecuador were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Daniel Zorita was the one to do the kick off. Tiago Lira hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristian Sancho got free with Claudinho Moura in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Claudinho Moura made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. In the 59th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. If Luis Andino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Ecuador booed when AS Pikachuzim was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Victor da Fonseca didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cristian Sancho who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 67thth minute tested the skills of Claudinho Moura when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 69 minutes into the match, AS Pikachuzim's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Claudinho Moura reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 74 minutes, Cristian Sancho took a quick shot and it went in 0-5 without a chance for Claudinho Moura to make any attempt to save it. The crowd rose to their feet as Ecuador's Luis Andino slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Claudinho Moura. That made the score 0-6 after 77 minutes of play. After having played for 81 minutes, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Zorita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cristian Sancho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Claudinho Moura made a huge save. Claudinho Moura was out of position in the 83 minute of play, and Cristian Sancho capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Cristian Sancho really showed his touch with that goal: 0-7. After 85 minutes, Dadá Torres mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the AS Pikachuzim and the Ecuador players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, AS Pikachuzim's Dadá Torres got a free kick in the 85th minute. Claudinho Moura made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Cristian Sancho sent off a good shot on target. In the 87th match minute, AS Pikachuzim was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Claudinei do Valle to maneuver through the defense. In the 88th of the match, Luis Andino tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Claudinho Moura got in the way and made a wonderful save. In the 89th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. AS Pikachuzim's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. Felix Montes made a great header on Ecuador's corner, it was just that AS Pikachuzim's Claudinho Moura managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 91st minute of the match, Cristian Sancho got a very nice opportunity to score, but Claudinho Moura was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 92 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita notched a goal, 0-8, to the right of AS Pikachuzim's Claudinho Moura. Claudinho Moura was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
