In the 12th minute Isidoro Sarmiento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tiago Arósio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 14 minutes into the game, Tomas Berganza cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Tiago Arósio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Marcos Cotilla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jeferson Peixoto, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Tião Silveira hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Tony Botelho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcos Cotilla having to interfere. In the 38th minute, Leão STAND BY FSCMZ's Jeferson Peixoto ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Marcos Cotilla. Marcos Cotilla yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. Marcos Cotilla made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Tony Botelho sent off a good shot on target. Marcos Cotilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jeferson Peixoto in the 45th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Tony Botelho kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Marcos Cotilla. That made the score 2-1 in the 46 minute of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tony Botelho stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Leão STAND BY FSCMZ's Tiago Arósio got control of the ball when Alex Cambeiro tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tony Botelho in the 68th minute of play forced Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Abraham Alguacil fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Panama's protests and gave Abraham Alguacil a yellow card for diving instead. Abraham Alguacil hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Marcos Cotilla stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tony Botelho's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. In the 77th match minute, Panama was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felipe Ros to maneuver through the defense. Leão STAND BY FSCMZ's defense didn't have a chance, in the 83rd minute, when Tomas Berganza scored to the left of an out of position Tiago Arósio, making the score, 3-2. In the 86th minute of the match, Isidoro Sarmiento tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Tiago Arósio saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Dylan Sarmiento charged in rather forcefully in the 92nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dylan Sarmiento the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 95th minute of the match Tião Silveira sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Marcos Cotilla skillfully saved the ball. In the 96th minute, Maurinho Mandrak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Many of Panama's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Panama may have spent more time on the ball, but Leão STAND BY FSCMZ were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
