With a couple of smart ball manuevers 孟威珂 in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Thiago Pliego saved Chile from getting behind. 77 minutes had been played when some careless play by Guangdong Yunliu's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Mariano Lacasa was slow to take the kick. During this time Chile's players had a chance to rest. In the 85th play minute Mariano Lacasa came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised 倪笑建. 2-3. Mariano Lacasa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but 倪笑建 read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play.
