Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 6th minute, when Eddie Murphy sent off a good shot on target. Eddie Murphy who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 8thth minute tested the skills of Jonathan Ferrant when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When Rigoberto Mina fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Venezuela's protests and gave Rigoberto Mina a yellow card for diving instead. After 13th play minutes Eddie Murphy shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Jonathan Ferrant and just under the crossbar into goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Real Trabzon Sk's Eddie Murphy slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. That made the score 2-0 after 17 minutes of play. The audience was convinced that Tomas Illescas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Görkem Büyükada was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. 23 minutes into the match, Real Trabzon Sk's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Illescas came free, but Görkem Büyükada reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The corner led to Venezuela's Salvador Gisbert getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. When İlkan Barlas came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Real Trabzon Sk fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that İlkan Barlas couldn't finish the play. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. Görkem Büyükada made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 46th minute of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eddie Murphy made a kick off. In the 50th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jose Correa to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Eddie Murphy's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. If Patricio Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Real Trabzon Sk booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Correa didn't get a good kick on the ball. 吕战永 took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 57th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. İlkan Barlas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. Tomas Illescas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 67th minute, Eddie Murphy got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 68th minute, Orhan Veli Tankut hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Patricio Costa struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Görkem Büyükada didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Venezuela. Eddie Murphy succeeded in the game's 74th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 5-0. Tomas Illescas let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 78th minute shot 5-1 at rihgt post. In the 82nd minute Saffet Akdağ shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 90 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Patricio Costa. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eddie Murphy in the 91st minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Real Trabzon Sk's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
