Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Daniel Zorita started the match with the kick off. Alexander Hegg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 3rd minute of the match. In the 4th minute, Agustín Saelices made a precise shot to the right of Alexander Hegg. Fabiofs's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joãozinho Trints in the 9th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cauan Batista in the 12th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexander Hegg having to interfere. When Felix Montenegro came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Felix Montenegro couldn't finish the play. If Daniel Regis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cauan Batista in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 23 minutes into the game, Luis Andino cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Alexander Hegg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 31 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alexander Hegg made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. In the 34thth minute of the game Cauan Batista who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Alexander Hegg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 37th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alexander Hegg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alexander Hegg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 41st minute of play forced Fabiofs's goalkeeper Alexander Hegg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Fabiofs getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Marcinho Lopez hit a great ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Daniel Regis made a kick off. Alexander Hegg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 61 minutes into the match, Fabiofs's Cauan Batista sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Alexander Hegg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristian Sancho in the 62nd minute. If Daniel Regis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexander Hegg having to interfere. After 67 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Primitivo Andino. 68 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Cauan Batista came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 71st minute of the match, Luis Andino tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Alexander Hegg saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cauan Batista in the 72nd minute of play. Daniel Zorita's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Alexander Hegg firmly grabbed it by the left post. A collision led to Fabiofs getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Ricardinho Rezende hit a great ball. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 76th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Fabiofs. In the 79th minute, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Alexander Hegg. Alexander Hegg yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-4. Cauan Batista struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Julio Vera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fabiofs. Julio Vera didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Joãozinho Trints went, in the 83rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-4 was the resulting score. When the match was over Ecuador could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Fabiofs throughout the match.
