Cristi Miheș didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luis Andino went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. 黄超亦 could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. Daniel Zorita got in the 33rd a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Cristi Miheș handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Cristi Miheș showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luis Andino in the 34th minute of the match. 39 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ecuador's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Engin Dönmez was slow to take the kick. During this time GoooooL's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Engin Dönmez almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Ecuador's Julio Vera did a great save. 43 minutes into the game, Engin Dönmez recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Julio Vera. Engin Dönmez showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and 黄超亦 made a kick off. Silviu Filimon kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Cengizhan Kaan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 黄超亦, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. After 65 minutes, Iosif Şiman mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the GoooooL and the Ecuador players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 黄超亦 in the 69th minute of play. 70 minutes into the game, George Paulică was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. GoooooL's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ecuador the free kick. George Paulică hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Cristi Miheș made a huge save. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 78th minute, but Cristi Miheș got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving GoooooL hanging dry this time. 84 minutes into the match, GoooooL's Engin Dönmez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Iosif Şiman hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Cristi Miheș tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee felt a red card was in order, 95 minutes into the game, when Cengizhan Kaan put in a rough tackle. In the 95th minute, Cengizhan Kaan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 96th minute, Daniel Zorita got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
