After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Isidoro Sarmiento managed to get in a good position for a shot. Panama's supporters rose to their feet, but Isidoro Sarmiento was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tiago Arósio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Leão STAND BY FSCMZ getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Anselmo Cabral hit a great ball. In the 14th minute Abraham Alguacil shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tiago Arósio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Panama booed when Leão STAND BY FSCMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felippe Severo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tiago Arósio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isidoro Sarmiento, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Tiago Arósio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abraham Alguacil in the 30th minute of the match. 31 minutes into the game, Felippe Severo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Leão STAND BY FSCMZ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Panama the free kick. Felipe Ros charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Felipe Ros the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 32 played minutes Panama got a freekick which was hit by Felipe Ros. 33 minutes into the match, Leão STAND BY FSCMZ's Jeferson Peixoto sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marcos Cotilla narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A hard shot 36 in the game by Tony Botelho from a close distance when the talented Marcos Cotilla managed to make a qualified save. Panama's players were relieved. After 37 played minutes Leão STAND BY FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Tião Silveira. Leão STAND BY FSCMZ's Tiago Arósio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Berganza in the 38th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Leão STAND BY FSCMZ's Anselmo Cabral got a free kick in the 40th minute. 41 minutes into the match, Panama's Abraham Alguacil broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Marcos Cotilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tony Botelho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Panama's Miguel Miralles got a free kick in the 47th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The wind increased when Tomas Berganza made the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes Panama got a freekick which was hit by Felipe Ros. Tião Silveira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Leão STAND BY FSCMZ's Tião Silveira couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 55th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Panama. In the 71st minute Tião Silveira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Cotilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 72 minutes into the game, Leão STAND BY FSCMZ's Jeferson Peixoto nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marcos Cotilla made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Tiago Arósio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Isidoro Sarmiento in the 75th minute. Marcos Cotilla stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jeferson Peixoto's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. In the 78th match minute, Leão STAND BY FSCMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maurinho Mandrak to maneuver through the defense. Tiago Arósio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Berganza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 92nd minute, Tião Silveira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 95 minutes into the match, Leão STAND BY FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Berganza came free, but Tiago Arósio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Panama were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Leão STAND BY FSCMZ to leave the ground with a draw.
