Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Kent Lindberg made the kick off which started today's match. Franco Sampler showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kent Lindberg in the 9th minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Paulino Elequemedo kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. In the 17th minute Kent Lindberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 19 minutes Peru's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Hans Doss who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Hans Doss almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Peru's Rolando Noboa did a great save. 21 minutes into the game, Alonso Berganza threw the ball into play from the sideline. Mercado Paulista F.C's Paulino Elequemedo quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 23rd minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Franco Sampler saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kent Lindberg in the 24th minute of play. Peru's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Luz Tejedor in the 27th minute. The corner led to Peru's Eliseo Mina getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kent Lindberg in the 32nd minute of play. Paulino Elequemedo made in the 38th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Peru's Alonso Berganza. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luz Tejedor got free with Franco Sampler in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 41st minute, Hans Doss hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The wind increased when Julian Murillo made the kick off in the second half. Luz Tejedor hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Cristian de Lima took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rolando Noboa. Rolando Noboa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. The throw-in from Paulino Elequemedo in the 60th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Peru's Eliseo Mina. In the 65th minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Franco Sampler saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cristian de Lima's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rolando Noboa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 69th minute of play. Mercado Paulista F.C's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Hans Doss in the 70th minute. After taking down the ball on Mercado Paulista F.C's corner Hans Doss fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Rolando Noboa quite easily take care of the ball. Franco Sampler came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by Peru's Luz Tejedor. But to his dismay, Luz Tejedor quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian de Lima in the 77th minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mercado Paulista F.C's Franco Sampler played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 79th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 85th minute of play forced Mercado Paulista F.C's goalkeeper Franco Sampler to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sebastian Jayvier kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Peru's Antonio Tenorio was substituted for Luz Tejedor. The supporters of Peru booed when Mercado Paulista F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sebastian Jayvier didn't get a good kick on the ball. Franco Sampler made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rafael Gallo in the 91st minute of play. Franco Sampler showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antonio Tenorio in the 96th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Antonio Tenorio in the 96th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Franco Sampler prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the referee ended the match the Peru players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
