An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 9th minute of play forced GoooooL's goalkeeper Cristi Miheș to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when 黄超亦 sent off a good shot on target. The GoooooL fans' excitement grew in the 15th match minute when GoooooL's 黄超亦 looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 18th minute Luis Andino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristi Miheș saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 19 minutes GoooooL's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Daniel Zorita got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Cristi Miheș quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Cristi Miheș didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luis Andino went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. The crowd rose to their feet as GoooooL's 黄超亦 slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Julio Vera. That made the score 2-2 after 27 minutes of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 30th minute of play forced GoooooL's goalkeeper Cristi Miheș to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 31 minutes into the game, Cristian Sancho cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Cristi Miheș was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 黄超亦's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Daniel Zorita's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cristi Miheș was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. Cristi Miheș showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. In the 46th minute Luis Andino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristi Miheș saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cristi Miheș made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-4. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 2-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 54th minute, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-5. After a rather tough play, GoooooL's Iosif Şiman got a free kick in the 56th minute. 黄超亦 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Engin Dönmez, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Daniel Zorita struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Cristi Miheș didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. Cristi Miheș made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Cristian Sancho sent off a good shot on target. Cristi Miheș showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luis Andino, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Silviu Filimon charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Silviu Filimon the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 91st match minute, GoooooL was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silviu Filimon to maneuver through the defense. In the 95th minute, Juan Sebastián Puig hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 96 minutes, Engin Dönmez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. GoooooL's supporters crossed their fingers, but Engin Dönmez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match was over Ecuador could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than GoooooL throughout the match.
