Marcos Cotilla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gugu Tande, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. In the 30th minute of the match Magnifico FC - FSCMZ got a corner. Panama's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Richard Senna ran over to the corner to take the kick. Magnifico FC - FSCMZ's Nestor Paraibano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Berganza in the 38th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Richard Senna managed to get in a good position for a shot. Magnifico FC - FSCMZ's supporters rose to their feet, but Richard Senna was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcos Cotilla breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Richard Linhares made a kick off. Richard Senna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcos Cotilla having to interfere. 67 minutes into the match, Magnifico FC - FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Isidoro Sarmiento came free, but Nestor Paraibano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tomas Berganza in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nestor Paraibano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Nestor Paraibano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isidoro Sarmiento, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. After 74 minutes, Chicão Novaes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Magnifico FC - FSCMZ and the Panama players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 74 played minutes Magnifico FC - FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Chicão Novaes. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alan Machado got free with Marcos Cotilla in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 82 minutes into the match, Panama's goal looked a bit too open when Richard Linhares came free, but Marcos Cotilla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 83rd minute, Magnifico FC - FSCMZ's Richard Linhares ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Marcos Cotilla. Marcos Cotilla yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-2. Miguel Miralles charged in rather forcefully in the 86th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Miguel Miralles the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Miguel Miralles hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Alan Machado could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Marcos Cotilla made a huge save. Magnifico FC - FSCMZ's Nestor Paraibano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isidoro Sarmiento in the 89th minute of play. Aaron Barrios hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. During the 95th minute of the match Chicão Novaes completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Chicão Novaes a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Magnifico FC - FSCMZ were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Panama's much stronger midfield.
