The score was now 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Monty Rogers in the 32nd minute of play forced ☆战国☆青岛烈火足球俱乐部's goalkeeper 傅超昆 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as USA's Jenson Smith slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of 傅超昆. That made the score 2-1 after 38 minutes of play. 傅超昆 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edward Mcdonald in the 42nd minute of play. 46 minutes into the match, Cassius Byrne notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of ☆战国☆青岛烈火足球俱乐部's 傅超昆. 傅超昆 was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Miguel Borja to strike the kick off in the second half.
