Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Daniel Zorita took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 4th minute, Guaberto Isaio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eriberto Manilan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 8 minutes into the match, A.F Cuervos Azulgranas's goal looked a bit too open when Agustín Saelices came free, but Eriberto Manilan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eriberto Manilan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 9th minute of the match. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Justino Kusko's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. In the 22nd minute, Leonardo Cositorto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 24th minute of the game. One of Ecuador:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of A.F Cuervos Azulgranas:s goal. Ecuador:s Julio Vera showed great skill when he stopped Julian Hulberto:s penalty. After some careless play in the A.F Cuervos Azulgranas defense, Daniel Zorita kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eriberto Manilan. The A.F Cuervos Azulgranas fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eriberto Manilan should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Ecuador booed when A.F Cuervos Azulgranas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Uli Krutten didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cristian Sancho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. In the 39th minute, Gonzalo Rodriguez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Zorita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eriberto Manilan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tiburcio Tino blasted a shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Julio Vera having to make a save. After 43 minutes, Antonio Arias mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ecuador and the A.F Cuervos Azulgranas players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Antonio Arias got a free kick in the 43rd minute.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Justino Kusko was the one to do the kick off. If Anier Seme had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tiburcio Tino's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. After some careless play in the Ecuador defense, Tiburcio Tino kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Julio Vera. The Ecuador fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Julio Vera should have stopped the shot. In the 57th minute, Luis Andino reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Eriberto Manilan. The goal made the score 1-2. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 65th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eriberto Manilan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cristian Sancho struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Eriberto Manilan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. A.F Cuervos Azulgranas's Eriberto Manilan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luis Andino in the 69th minute of play. Eriberto Manilan made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. In the 74th minute of the match, Cristian Sancho got a very nice opportunity to score, but Eriberto Manilan was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. With a little luck, A.F Cuervos Azulgranas's Eriberto Manilan got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tiburcio Tino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 82 minutes into the match, A.F Cuervos Azulgranas's goalkeeper Eriberto Manilan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 85th minute of play forced A.F Cuervos Azulgranas's goalkeeper Eriberto Manilan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristian Sancho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Eriberto Manilan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Guaberto Isaio hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonardo Cositorto in the 94th minute of play. Ecuador played a much better game than A.F Cuervos Azulgranas and deserved their victory. The A.F Cuervos Azulgranas players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
