The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Thiago Pliego came out of the goal in the 5th minute to try and stop a shot by BaBa Aküü Yook..! 42's Bogdan Bambas. But to his dismay, Bogdan Bambas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Mariano Lacasa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but İskender Orbey read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 7th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bogdan Bambas in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Thiago Pliego saved Chile from getting behind. In the 13th play minute Mariano Lacasa came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised İskender Orbey. 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Servet Bakırcıoğlu in the 17th minute of play forced Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Bogdan Bambas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Thiago Pliego was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. Mariano Lacasa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mariano Lacasa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but İskender Orbey made a huge save. 33 minutes into the match, Chile's goal looked a bit too open when Gürsel Durusoy came free, but Thiago Pliego reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Chile getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Alan Tamayo hit a great ball. Mariano Lacasa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but İskender Orbey made a huge save. İskender Orbey made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Mariano Lacasa sent off a good shot on target. After 42 minutes BaBa Aküü Yook..! 42's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Mariano Lacasa who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Mariano Lacasa got away a dangerous shot. Despite this İskender Orbey quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Thiago Pliego made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gürsel Durusoy in the 44th minute of play. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

BaBa Aküü Yook..! 42's İskender Orbey played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Orlando Casaus in the 51st minute of play. In the 55th minute Pedro Indiano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but İskender Orbey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 57 minutes into the match, Chile's Mariano Lacasa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that İskender Orbey narrowly saved just below the crossbar. İskender Orbey came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by Chile's Orlando Casaus. But to his dismay, Orlando Casaus quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. 69 minutes into the match, BaBa Aküü Yook..! 42's goal looked a bit too open when Guillermo Fontirroig came free, but İskender Orbey reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 70 minutes had been played when some careless play by BaBa Aküü Yook..! 42's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Mariano Lacasa was slow to take the kick. During this time Chile's players had a chance to rest. A well-hit corner resulted in Francisco Carballar heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. In the 74th match minute, BaBa Aküü Yook..! 42 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gürsel Durusoy to maneuver through the defense. Servet Bakırcıoğlu struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Thiago Pliego didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for BaBa Aküü Yook..! 42. After a rather tough play, BaBa Aküü Yook..! 42's Bogdan Bambas got a free kick in the 78th minute. With a little luck, Chile's Thiago Pliego got control of the ball when Servet Bakırcıoğlu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Chile's Francisco Carballar suffered a sore thigh after 87 minutes and couldn't finish the game. 87 minutes into the game, Börje Linquist was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. BaBa Aküü Yook..! 42's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chile the free kick. In the 88th match minute, BaBa Aküü Yook..! 42 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Börje Linquist to maneuver through the defense. BaBa Aküü Yook..! 42's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
