Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s Isidro Oliviero started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute Pompiliu Isăcescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Day saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Isidro Oliviero was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Marco Day stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pompiliu Isăcescu's shot from short distance in the 9th minute. Nicasio Abad took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cassius Byrne, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 16th minute, Fabian Brown hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s Isidro Oliviero couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 17th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for USA. In the 19th minute USA were awarded a corner. Cassius Byrne went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led to USA's Jacob May getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Nicasio Abad made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cassius Byrne in the 22nd minute of play. 23 minutes had been played when some careless play by Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Cassius Byrne was slow to take the kick. During this time USA's players had a chance to rest. Edward Mcdonald recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Marco Day showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isidro Oliviero in the 31st minute of the match. The USA fans' excitement grew in the 34th match minute when USA's Cassius Byrne looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. USA's Marco Day proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save USA from getting a goal against them. Nicasio Abad took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cassius Byrne, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Edward Mcdonald hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Cassius Byrne sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s Nicasio Abad proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥ from getting a goal against them. The corner led USA's Diego Bradley to fire away a dangerous shot which Nicasio Abad despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 61 minutes into the match, USA's goal looked a bit too open when Isidro Oliviero came free, but Marco Day reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Monty Rogers struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Nicasio Abad didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for USA. 65 minutes in the game, Cassius Byrne fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Nicasio Abad having to interfere. 71 minutes into the match, USA's goal looked a bit too open when William Lebigot came free, but Marco Day reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s Elvio Frances was substituted for Isidro Oliviero. Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥ made a substitution. Kosmas Banasopoulos replaced Joel Enekoitz. USA made a substitution. Sam Campbell replaced Cassius Byrne. Marco Day made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from William Lebigot in the 78th minute of play. USA's Khalid Parry was substituted for Monty Rogers. USA's Marco Baker was substituted for Edward Mcdonald. Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Kosmas Banasopoulos in the 80th minute. The corner went over the outstretched arms of USA's goalie and right to William Lebigot. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. USA's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. 82 minutes into the match, Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s Elvio Frances sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marco Day narrowly saved just below the crossbar. USA's Marco Day played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elvio Frances in the 85th minute of play. Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Kosmas Banasopoulos in the 86th minute. Kosmas Banasopoulos made a great header on Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s corner, it was just that USA's Marco Day managed to reach the ball for a save. Kosmas Banasopoulos kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. USA were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥ to leave the ground with a draw.
