Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Roque Estavan took the kick off in the first half of the match. Lautaro Puig blasted a shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Severiano Bartoli having to make a save. When atletic Luprechauns's Roque Estavan in the 7th minute got a chance for a shot 7th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Costa Rica's goalie prevented a goal. The supporters of atletic Luprechauns booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juan Rubio didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 10th minute, Costa Rica's Efrain Moruga seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Efrain Moruga the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Costa Rica protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Efrain Moruga had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 9 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Costa Rica! In the 12th minute there was a penalty for atletic Luprechauns. Celestino Urtsin stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Benito Sanz. 1-0. Benito Sanz was a little too slow when Aldo Pe got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 15th minute. The score was now 2-0. 17 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jose Senin. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aldo Pe in the 20th minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lautaro Puig sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eliseo Noboa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Severiano Bartoli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 27th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alan Moruga to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Eliseo Noboa hit a great ball. In the 34th match minute, atletic Luprechauns was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Celestino Urtsin to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eliseo Noboa in the 35th minute of play forced atletic Luprechauns's goalkeeper Severiano Bartoli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luisito Buinton hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Lautaro Puig sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eliseo Noboa to make the kick off. In the 50th minute, Roque Estavan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 53 minutes into the match, Eliseo Noboa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Severiano Bartoli. atletic Luprechauns's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eliseo Noboa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. The supporters of atletic Luprechauns booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juan Rubio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Benito Sanz came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by atletic Luprechauns's Roque Estavan. But to his dismay, Roque Estavan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Lautaro Puig hit a great ball. If Lautaro Puig had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 71st match minute, atletic Luprechauns was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Celestino Urtsin to maneuver through the defense. Eloy Pereyra hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Celestino Urtsin walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Aldo Pe took the ball and in the 86 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-1. If Eliseo Noboa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 94th minute, Alexander Carballo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. atletic Luprechauns walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
