New England Minas's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rohan Watson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Jeremy Nicholas was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Koby Wright showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-0 in the 23 minute of play. New England Minas's defense didn't have a chance, in the 37th minute, when Koby Wright scored to the left of an out of position Jeremy Nicholas, making the score, 5-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Carter George in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jeremy Nicholas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match clock showed 41 minutes, the score became 6-0 when Carter George sped through New England Minas's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jeremy Nicholas. Jeremy Nicholas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rohan Watson in the 45th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 6-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Koby Wright was the one to do the kick off.
