Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Cassius Byrne started the match with the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Hertha 1969's zone, Edward Mcdonald stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rune Jarstein came out of the goal and Edward Mcdonald tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rune Jarstein showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Monty Rogers in the 4th minute of the match. 11 minutes into the match, Hertha 1969's goal looked a bit too open when Cassius Byrne came free, but Rune Jarstein reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rune Jarstein made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Monty Rogers in the 13th minute of play. The supporters of Hertha 1969 booed when USA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zach Harrison didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hertha 1969's Moritz Hasenjäger shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 17th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Marco Day but with some difficulty. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cassius Byrne in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rune Jarstein prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 20thth minute of the game Wilhelm Nienhaus who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but USA's Marco Day was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Marco Day stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Wilhelm Nienhaus's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gigel Elenescu got free with Marco Day in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Nils Hovermann's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 30thth minute, Marco Day skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Rune Jarstein came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by USA's Monty Rogers. But to his dismay, Monty Rogers quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 42nd minute Cassius Byrne shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rune Jarstein saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 43rd minute, Zach Harrison hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Wilhelm Nienhaus to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Moritz Hasenjäger in the 50th minute of play forced USA's goalkeeper Marco Day to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 51st minute of the match Hertha 1969 got a corner. USA's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Moritz Hasenjäger ran over to the corner to take the kick. Rune Jarstein took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cassius Byrne, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marco Day showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wilhelm Nienhaus in the 54th minute of the match. In the 56th minute Cassius Byrne shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rune Jarstein saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marco Day took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zé Paulo da Silva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Wilhelm Nienhaus in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marco Day saved USA from getting behind. After having played for 66 minutes, Moritz Hasenjäger managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hertha 1969's supporters crossed their fingers, but Moritz Hasenjäger was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. USA's Sam Campbell was substituted for Cassius Byrne. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sam Campbell got free with Rune Jarstein in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice moves Sam Campbell could shoot a difficult shot in the 70th minute, which Rune Jarstein however easily saved by the left post. In the 72nd minute Zé Paulo da Silva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Day saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 78 minutes into the match, USA's goal looked a bit too open when Wilhelm Nienhaus came free, but Marco Day reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 78 minutes into the game, Wilhelm Nienhaus cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Marco Day was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. USA's Marco Baker was substituted for Edward Mcdonald. 82 minutes into the game, Ziemowit Tscherner was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hertha 1969's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave USA the free kick. Ziemowit Tscherner kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. USA's Jenson Smith shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 83rd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Rune Jarstein but with some difficulty. After having played for 84 minutes, Sam Campbell managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. USA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sam Campbell was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Hertha 1969's Rune Jarstein got control of the ball when Sam Campbell tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sam Campbell got free with Rune Jarstein in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 95th play minute Sam Campbell came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Rune Jarstein. 1-2. When the final whistle sounded USA left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Hertha 1969.
