Ecuador's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Remigiusz Kociniewski ran over to the corner to take the kick. PAIDAGOGOS's Remigiusz Kociniewski was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Julio Vera in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Teobald Piszczor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Waldemar Spychalski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 14th minute of play forced PAIDAGOGOS's goalkeeper Teobald Piszczor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A hard shot 17 in the game by Waldemar Spychalski from a close distance when the talented Julio Vera managed to make a qualified save. Ecuador's players were relieved. After 18 played minutes PAIDAGOGOS got a freekick which was hit by Boleslaw Debkowski. A collision led to PAIDAGOGOS getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Remigiusz Kociniewski hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 23rd minute of play forced PAIDAGOGOS's goalkeeper Teobald Piszczor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Remigiusz Kociniewski kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. In the 28th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teobald Piszczor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 29 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Waldemar Spychalski came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Waldemar Spychalski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Daniel Zorita scored 0-2 in the 38th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Teobald Piszczor, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The PAIDAGOGOS fans' excitement grew in the 42nd match minute when PAIDAGOGOS's Boleslaw Debkowski looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Teobald Piszczor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 45th minute of play. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Daniel Zorita stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Boleslaw Debkowski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Waldemar Spychalski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 57th minute Boleslaw Debkowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 62 minutes into the game, Waldemar Spychalski was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. PAIDAGOGOS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ecuador the free kick. A collision led to PAIDAGOGOS getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Waldemar Spychalski hit a great ball. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 66 played minutes PAIDAGOGOS got a freekick which was hit by Sebastian Bădilescu. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mieszko Jucha in the 68th minute of play. A nice corner shot did that Remigiusz Kociniewski got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Julio Vera quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 75th minute Luis Andino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teobald Piszczor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 78 played minutes PAIDAGOGOS got a freekick which was hit by Boleslaw Debkowski. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 82th minute after PAIDAGOGOS's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Boleslaw Debkowski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Boleslaw Debkowski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Boleslaw Debkowski in the 92nd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Teobald Piszczor in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match was over Ecuador could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than PAIDAGOGOS throughout the match.
