After 13 minutes of play, Paraguay's Primitivo Escribano made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jimmie Eckegren was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Jaime Pardo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-0 in the 18 minute of play. When the match clock showed 24 minutes, the score became 5-0 when Jaime Pardo sped through Preator Edikt's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jimmie Eckegren. Hector Covarrubias came free with the goalkeeper in the 27th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Jimmie Eckegren could save by the left post. Jimmie Eckegren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jaime Pardo in the 56th minute of play. 60 minutes into the match, Hector Covarrubias had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jimmie Eckegren. The Preator Edikt fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jimmie Eckegren should have stopped the shot. Jimmie Eckegren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jaime Pardo in the 92nd minute of play. In the 93rd minute, Primitivo Escribano made a precise shot to the right of Jimmie Eckegren. Preator Edikt's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 14-0. There was no doubt that Paraguay were the better team. Paraguay's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
