The Virtual Aces fans' excitement grew in the 9th match minute when Virtual Aces's Victor Petersson looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Victor Petersson in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ricardo Zorita saved El Salvador from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by George Best in the 18th minute of play forced El Salvador's goalkeeper Ricardo Zorita to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Øystein Rullhøj could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Ricardo Zorita made a huge save. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 6-0.

Virtual Aces had played much better football throughout.
