Fabiano Porto was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Austra 04 VFC's Fabiano Porto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 8th minute of play. After having played for 11 minutes, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Zorita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Austra 04 VFC getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Pedro Pancareken hit a great ball. 18 minutes into the match, Austra 04 VFC's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Fabiano Porto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Austra 04 VFC's Fabiano Porto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 19th minute of play. Fabiano Porto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fabiano Porto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 23rd minute of play. Daniel Zorita might have been able to make a better finish in the 24th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fabiano Porto. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Daniel Zorita ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 25th minute, Cauã Costa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 29th minute of the match Pedro Pancareken shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Julio Vera showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 29 minutes, Evandro Vidal mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Austra 04 VFC and the Ecuador players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Austra 04 VFC's Evandro Vidal got a free kick in the 30th minute. When Luis Andino, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 32 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Fabiano Porto was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Bruno de Castro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 39th minute, Cristian Sancho made a precise shot to the right of Fabiano Porto. Austra 04 VFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. The audience was convinced that Daniel Zorita's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fabiano Porto was relentless in the 43rd minute of the game. In the 45th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabiano Porto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fabiano Porto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Fabiano Porto didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Daniel Zorita went, in the 47th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. The Austra 04 VFC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ecuador were winning 0-4.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Daniel Zorita made a kick off. The audience was convinced that Cristian Sancho's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fabiano Porto was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristian Sancho got free with Fabiano Porto in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 56th match minute, Austra 04 VFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cauã Costa to maneuver through the defense. After 59 minutes of play, Ecuador's Agustín Saelices made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fabiano Porto was left in no man's land by his defense there! 68 minutes into the match, Luis Andino had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fabiano Porto. Austra 04 VFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luis Andino was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-7. With a little luck, Austra 04 VFC's Fabiano Porto got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. 72 minutes into the match, Austra 04 VFC's goalkeeper Fabiano Porto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. The Ecuador fans' excitement grew in the 74th match minute when Ecuador's Daniel Zorita looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-8 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Fabiano Porto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 78th minute of the match. In the 94th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabiano Porto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 95th minute of play forced Austra 04 VFC's goalkeeper Fabiano Porto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Austra 04 VFC's Cauã Costa got his second yellow card of the match in the 95th minute. The referee ordered Cauã Costa off the ground. A collision led to Austra 04 VFC getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Cauã Costa hit a great ball. Ecuador's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
