Axel Montenegro went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Axel Montenegro almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Jurassic Monsters SA's Yiğitcan İstanbullu did a great save. In the 44th minute, Axel Montenegro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Yiğitcan İstanbullu was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. When Axel Montenegro came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Colombia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Axel Montenegro couldn't finish the play. After the first half Colombia were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

A sloppy throw-in by Joshua Garrido in the 51st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Jurassic Monsters SA's Eliézer Ramos. Pedro Manzanares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luiz Fabiano Lima, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Axel Montenegro charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Axel Montenegro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Colombia getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Luiz Fabiano Lima blasted a shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pedro Manzanares having to make a save. Luiz Fabiano Lima took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pedro Manzanares. Pedro Manzanares dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luiz Fabiano Lima in the 64th minute of play. In the 66th minute Kevin Mastache shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yiğitcan İstanbullu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jurassic Monsters SA's attentive Eliézer Ramos managed to snatch the ball when Joshua Garrido made a throw-in in the 78th minute of the game. Eliézer Ramos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Pedro Manzanares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Jurassic Monsters SA's Renan Lago got a free kick in the 85th minute. In the 92ndth minute of the game Ignacio Mastache who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Jurassic Monsters SA's Yiğitcan İstanbullu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.
