After 44 played minutes, A.F Cuervos Azulgranas's Julian Hulberto shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Julio Vera came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in A.F Cuervos Azulgranas reached it. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Justino Kusko made the kick off in the second half. Felix Montenegro struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Eriberto Manilan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. 54 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Leonardo Cositorto came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Uli Krutten hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Anier Seme stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Anier Seme tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 60th minute of the match, Anier Seme tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Julio Vera saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Justino Kusko tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 66th match minute, A.F Cuervos Azulgranas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Justino Kusko to maneuver through the defense. Antonio Arias hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. In the 72nd minute, Yin Rong Jian hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. In the 94th minute Justino Kusko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
