Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Mexico's Joel Gaona started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the match, Göpsen FC's Pantelija Bou sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dante Lacasa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 6th minute, Felix Luque hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 8th minute Göpsen FC were awarded a corner. Charles Gallot went to the cornerflag to take it. Anselmo Furlan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Gaona in the 10th minute of the match. Pantelija Bou's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 12thth minute, Dante Lacasa skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After 13 minutes, Charles Gallot mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Göpsen FC and the Mexico players grew even worse after the yellow card. Charles Gallot hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. In the 15th minute, one of Göpsen FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Göpsen FC. In the 16th minute there was a penalty for Mexico. Joel Gaona stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Anselmo Furlan. 0-1. Alberto Tafalla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Anselmo Furlan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 22 minutes of play Göpsen FC's Charles Gallot was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Mexico's Joel Gaona got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Göpsen FC's Anselmo Furlan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 38th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Gaona in the 41st minute of play forced Göpsen FC's goalkeeper Anselmo Furlan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Yunus Canver kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. 45 minutes into the match, Göpsen FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lautaro Mancebo came free, but Anselmo Furlan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luca Zorita's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Anselmo Furlan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 48th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

In the 52nd minute Yunus Canver shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Anselmo Furlan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 56th minute. A collision led to Göpsen FC getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Pantelija Bou hit a great ball. Yunus Canver hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. 64 minutes into the match, Göpsen FC's goalkeeper Anselmo Furlan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alberto Tafalla. Yunus Canver recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The throw-in from Leonardo Leoz in the 74th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Göpsen FC's Beltran De Paula. With an all-out effort, Mexico's Anselmo Furlan threw himself towards the right post 77 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Joel Gaona, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 83rd minute, Joel Gaona reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Anselmo Furlan. The goal made the score 0-2. Yunus Canver sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
