Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Venezuela's Tomas Illescas started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the match, Preator Edikt's goalkeeper Jimmie Eckegren had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tomas Illescas. Helge Bokelund's late challenge caught a Venezuela's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Helge Bokelund helped the player get up and apologised. Jimmie Eckegren was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Tomas Illescas showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 6 minute of play. An unexpected shot in the 9th minute by Patricio Costa got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Tomas Illescas who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 12thth minute tested the skills of Jimmie Eckegren when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Jimmie Eckegren made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Tomas Illescas sent off a good shot on target. Tomas Illescas's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 17thth minute, Jimmie Eckegren skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Alex Chicote hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. In the 24th minute of the match Nils-Emil Fagrell sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jonathan Ferrant skillfully saved the ball. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Preator Edikt's Jimmie Eckegren got control of the ball when Tomas Illescas tried to sneak it across the goal line. Patricio Costa was extremely unlucky when he, in the 36th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 40th match minute, Preator Edikt was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adam Kihlman to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Preator Edikt was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Helge Bokelund didn't get a good kick on the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mattias Magnusson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A throw-in in the 51st minute of the game was made by Tomas Illescas with Patricio Costa as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Patricio Costa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 59 played minutes Preator Edikt got a freekick which was hit by Helge Bokelund. Preator Edikt's Jimmie Eckegren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Illescas in the 67th minute of play. In the 69th minute the ball was on its way in behind Preator Edikt's goalkeeper Jimmie Eckegren, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 72 minutes into the match, Tomas Illescas notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Preator Edikt's Jimmie Eckegren. Jimmie Eckegren was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jimmie Eckegren having to interfere. Jimmie Eckegren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Patricio Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Jimmie Eckegren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 89 minutes into the match, Preator Edikt's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Illescas came free, but Jimmie Eckegren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Patricio Costa struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Jimmie Eckegren didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Venezuela. Preator Edikt's Jimmie Eckegren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Illescas in the 92nd minute of play. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee ended the match the Venezuela players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
