Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Daniel Zorita started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute, Överås BK's Henric Magnusson dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. After having played for 8 minutes, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Zorita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Överås BK's Mikael Vennerström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 14th minute of play. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cristian Sancho might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mikael Vennerström. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cristian Sancho ran back to his position shaking his head. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. Mikael Vennerström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 28th minute of the match. The supporters of Överås BK booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Agustín Saelices didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Tobias Kellberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 36th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Agustín Saelices to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Daniel Zorita's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mikael Vennerström was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. In the 39thth minute of the game Daniel Zorita who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Överås BK's Mikael Vennerström was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 40 minutes into the match, Överås BK's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Mikael Vennerström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mikael Vennerström having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Zorita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mikael Vennerström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tobias Kellberg to make the kick off. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tobias Kellberg in the 56th minute of play. After 57 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Antonio Arias. 59 minutes into the game, Billy Åhman was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Överås BK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ecuador the free kick. Mikael Vennerström had in the 60thth minute some difficulties stopping Daniel Zorita's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Antonio Arias hit a great ball. With a little luck, Överås BK's Mikael Vennerström got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 69th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Överås BK's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Ecuador's corner Felix Montenegro fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Mikael Vennerström quite easily take care of the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Ecuador's Daniel Zorita slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Mikael Vennerström. That made the score 1-1 after 73 minutes of play. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Mikael Vennerström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mikael Vennerström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 83rd minute of play. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Douglas Fransson in the 85th minute of the match. Mikael Vennerström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Mikael Vennerström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Agustín Saelices in the 93rd minute of play. Ecuador's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Överås BK had won, even though Ecuador had held more of the ball.
