Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) San Lorenzo de Sarandi's Leonides Rosio started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute Leonides Rosio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Cotilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 6th minute, Miguel Miralles hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marcos Cotilla was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Leonides Rosio showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 7 minute of play. Marcos Cotilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elias Honrio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marcos Cotilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonides Rosio in the 13th minute of the match. After 15 played minutes Panama got a freekick which was hit by Jose Carita. Leonides Rosio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Marcos Cotilla made a huge save. In the 21st minute, Jose Carita hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonides Rosio in the 22nd minute of play forced Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leonides Rosio did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-0 to the left of a surprised Marcos Cotilla 23 minutes into the match. Leonides Rosio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Marcos Cotilla made a huge save. Aaron Barrios kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonides Rosio in the 31st minute of play forced Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Abraham Alguacil took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lester Serre. Lester Serre dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. San Lorenzo de Sarandi's Ivan Errando was substituted for Venancio Piorno.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tomas Berganza to make the kick off. Panama's Marcos Cotilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonides Rosio in the 53rd minute of play. Miguel Miralles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. San Lorenzo de Sarandi's Lorenzo Jerrold was substituted for Leonides Rosio. Marcos Cotilla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lorenzo Jerrold, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Lorenzo Jerrold made a great header on San Lorenzo de Sarandi's corner, it was just that Panama's Marcos Cotilla managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 80th match minute, Panama was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomas Berganza to maneuver through the defense. San Lorenzo de Sarandi's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
