Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Horia Tătaru started the match with the kick off. Horia Tătaru struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. Jacobo Nores didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Preator Edikt. In the 8thth minute of the game Horia Tătaru who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Paraguay's Jacobo Nores was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 10 minutes into the game, Horia Tătaru cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Jacobo Nores was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Preator Edikt's Horia Tătaru in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Paraguay's goalie prevented a goal. Jaime Pardo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jan Pihlberg having to interfere. Horia Tătaru scored 0-2 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jacobo Nores, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 25 minutes into the match, Horia Tătaru had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jacobo Nores. Paraguay's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Horia Tătaru was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Jacobo Nores showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Horia Tătaru in the 31st minute of the match. Jacobo Nores stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Horia Tătaru's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. In the 42nd minute Horia Tătaru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacobo Nores saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 47th minute, Jose Sanz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Stig-Ove Blomqvist got free with Jacobo Nores in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Jose Sanz fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Paraguay's protests and gave Jose Sanz a yellow card for diving instead. Preator Edikt made a substitution. Michael Stor replaced Albert Örnberg. Jose Sanz hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Stig-Ove Blomqvist's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jacobo Nores was relentless in the 66th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stig-Ove Blomqvist in the 67th minute of play forced Paraguay's goalkeeper Jacobo Nores to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Stig-Ove Blomqvist kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jacobo Nores. That made the score 0-6 in the 69 minute of play. A collision led to Preator Edikt getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Karl-Ove Örtendal hit a great ball. Paraguay were awarded a corner in the 75th minute after Preator Edikt's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jaime Pardo took the corner. It was a well-played corner which Juan Diego Tenorio managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. After some careless play in the Paraguay defense, Stig-Ove Blomqvist kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jacobo Nores. The Paraguay fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jacobo Nores should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Paraguay's Jose Sanz got a free kick in the 82nd minute. A collision led to Paraguay getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Primitivo Escribano hit a great ball. If Stig-Ove Blomqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Stig-Ove Blomqvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jacobo Nores took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stig-Ove Blomqvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 91st minute of the game Jose Sanz made a throw-in which Hector Covarrubias played forward. In the 91st match minute, Preator Edikt was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ashley Cole to maneuver through the defense. 94 minutes into the match, Paraguay's goalkeeper Jacobo Nores had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Stig-Ove Blomqvist.
