Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Edmundo Espiga took the kick off in the first half of the match. Bo Rosen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edmundo Espiga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Honduras's Sebastian Villa in the 13th minute got a chance for a shot 13th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Blue Mountain Goats's goalie prevented a goal. In the 17th minute, Honduras's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Evert Holm fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Börge Karlsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Lautaro Navarro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lautaro Navarro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Evert Holm in the 21st minute. A collision led to Blue Mountain Goats getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Vincent Andersson hit a great ball. After having played for 26 minutes, Evert Holm managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Blue Mountain Goats's supporters crossed their fingers, but Evert Holm was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 28th minute, Börge Karlsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Lautaro Navarro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Börge Karlsson in the 36th minute of play. Evert Holm came free with the goalkeeper in the 41st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Lautaro Navarro could save by the left post. After a rather tough play, Honduras's Esteban Carvallo got a free kick in the 45th minute. Blue Mountain Goats's Evert Holm couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 46th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Honduras. When Sebastian Villa fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Honduras's protests and gave Sebastian Villa a yellow card for diving instead. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Evert Holm made the kick off in the second half. After 54 minutes, Evert Holm mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Blue Mountain Goats and the Honduras players grew even worse after the yellow card. Moises Tafalla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Blue Mountain Goats booed when Honduras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Milagros Cabal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Evert Holm blasted a shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lautaro Navarro having to make a save. In the 61stth minute of the game Börge Karlsson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Honduras's Lautaro Navarro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Bo Rosen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. 65 minutes into the match, Blue Mountain Goats's goal looked a bit too open when Moises Tafalla came free, but Bo Rosen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 65th minute, Sebastian Villa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Blue Mountain Goats's Börge Karlsson got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Esteban Carvallo during the 69th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 68th minute, one of Honduras:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Honduras. After 74 played minutes Blue Mountain Goats got a freekick which was hit by Ernst Stål. Börge Karlsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Börge Karlsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 83 minutes into the match, Honduras's goal looked a bit too open when Evert Holm came free, but Lautaro Navarro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 89th minute Evert Holm shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lautaro Navarro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Ulf Björling had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lautaro Navarro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Börge Karlsson in the 93rd minute of the match. Gunnar Björkqvist made in the 97th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Karl-Åke Lundblad immediately put the ball in play. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Honduras players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
