Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Sancar Aktemur took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zeynel Atabek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Cihangir Başkurt's late challenge caught a Venezuela's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cihangir Başkurt helped the player get up and apologised. Cihangir Başkurt hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. 25 minutes into the match, Zeynel Atabek notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Zeynel Atabek was extremely unlucky when he, in the 48th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Alex Chicote hit a great ball. Zeynel Atabek might have been able to make a better finish in the 78th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jonathan Ferrant. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Zeynel Atabek ran back to his position shaking his head. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sancar Aktemur having to interfere. The supporters of Venezuela booed when GeNÇ ÇoTaNaKLaR was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cihangir Başkurt didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zeynel Atabek in the 90th minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zeynel Atabek in the 97th minute of the match. GeNÇ ÇoTaNaKLaR's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
