Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Mariano Lacasa started the match with the kick off. Mariano Lacasa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Yuri Loureiro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 3rd minute of play. Mariano Lacasa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Yuri Loureiro having to make a save. Mariano Lacasa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Yuri Loureiro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 7th minute of play. In the 13th minute, Mariano Lacasa made a precise shot to the right of Yuri Loureiro. Atlético Minuano's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Thiago Pliego showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicolas Romero in the 19th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Chile defense, Nicolas Romero kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Thiago Pliego. The Chile fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Thiago Pliego should have stopped the shot. Yuri Loureiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 24th minute of the match. In the 24th minute, Mariano Lacasa made a precise shot to the right of Yuri Loureiro. Atlético Minuano's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. In the 27th minute, Atlético Minuano's Alfredinho Aparecido dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-3. In the 37th minute Dominik Piglowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thiago Pliego saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 38 minutes had been played when some careless play by Chile's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Nicolas Romero was slow to take the kick. During this time Atlético Minuano's players had a chance to rest. 40 minutes in the game Igor Kaczeniak did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Dominik Piglowski. With a little luck, Chile's Thiago Pliego got control of the ball when Nicolas Romero tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 47 played minutes Atlético Minuano got a freekick which was hit by Igor Kaczeniak. After the first half Chile were leading 2-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Mariano Lacasa scored 2-4 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Yuri Loureiro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Thiago Pliego took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfredinho Aparecido, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The corner led to Chile's Xavier Figueroa getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. 68 minutes into the match, Atlético Minuano's Nicolas Romero sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Thiago Pliego narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 69 minutes Chile's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Nicolas Romero who took care of the corner kick. Guillermo Fontirroig sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Yuri Loureiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 79th minute of play. Mariano Lacasa came free with the goalkeeper in the 83rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Yuri Loureiro could save by the left post. In the 84th minute, Mariano Lacasa made a precise shot to the right of Yuri Loureiro. Atlético Minuano's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-5. Nicolas Romero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thiago Pliego having to interfere. Yuri Loureiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Orlando Casaus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 91 minutes, Dominik Piglowski mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Atlético Minuano and the Chile players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Chile booed when Atlético Minuano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dominik Piglowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Mariano Lacasa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Tomé Galvão kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Orlando Casaus got free with Yuri Loureiro in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
