Panama's defense didn't have a chance, in the 7th minute, when Lorenzo Fernanco scored to the left of an out of position Marcos Cotilla, making the score, 1-0. Melquiades Beila kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Otoniel Bonet showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Berganza, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. In the 13th match minute, Terapia Intensiva was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tobias Truylos to maneuver through the defense. Otoniel Bonet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Berganza in the 20th minute of play. Ivo Calado could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Marcos Cotilla made a huge save. Otoniel Bonet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Berganza in the 22nd minute of the match. After 23 minutes, Aaron Barrios mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Panama and the Terapia Intensiva players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Panama getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Aaron Barrios hit a great ball. Marcos Cotilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lorenzo Fernanco in the 24th minute of play. In the 26th minute of the match Terapia Intensiva got a corner. Panama's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Elias Romo ran over to the corner to take the kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ivo Calado got free with Marcos Cotilla in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 29th match minute, Terapia Intensiva was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tobias Truylos to maneuver through the defense. In the 32ndth minute of the game Tomas Berganza who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Terapia Intensiva's Otoniel Bonet was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The Panama fans' excitement grew in the 37th match minute when Panama's Tomas Berganza looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 41 minutes into the match, Terapia Intensiva's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Berganza came free, but Otoniel Bonet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Terapia Intensiva's zone, Isidoro Sarmiento stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Otoniel Bonet came out of the goal and Isidoro Sarmiento tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 44th minute, Ivo Calado reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Marcos Cotilla. The goal made the score 2-1. After a defensive mix-up in Terapia Intensiva's zone, Abraham Alguacil stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Otoniel Bonet came out of the goal and Abraham Alguacil tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ivo Calado stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Tomas Berganza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Tomas Berganza's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Otoniel Bonet was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. Tomas Berganza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Otoniel Bonet having to interfere. Otoniel Bonet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Berganza in the 59th minute of the match. In the 60th minute, Ivo Calado ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marcos Cotilla was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Marcos Cotilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ivo Calado in the 63rd minute of play. The supporters of Terapia Intensiva booed when Panama was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aaron Barrios didn't get a good kick on the ball. Panama's Marcos Cotilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tobias Truylos in the 66th minute of play. In the 68th match minute, Panama was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aaron Barrios to maneuver through the defense. In the 70th minute, Tobias Truylos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marcos Cotilla was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. 73 minutes in the game, Isidoro Sarmiento fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Otoniel Bonet having to interfere. Melquiades Beila charged in rather forcefully in the 74th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Melquiades Beila the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 77 minutes into the match, Ivo Calado had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marcos Cotilla. Panama's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ivo Calado was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-1. 82 minutes into the game, Tomas Berganza cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-2. Otoniel Bonet was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Otoniel Bonet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Berganza in the 87th minute of the match. Elias Romo's late challenge caught a Panama's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Elias Romo helped the player get up and apologised. In the 95th match minute, Terapia Intensiva was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elias Romo to maneuver through the defense. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Terapia Intensiva fans cheered their team off the field, for while Panama had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
