In the 13thth minute of the game Eliézer de Queirós who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Peru's Rolando Noboa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. S O B E R A N O CIMZ's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Julian Murillo 14 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jailson Barral in the 17th minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 18 played minutes Peru got a freekick which was hit by Joaquin Prats. S O B E R A N O CIMZ's Fran Guerola played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 22nd minute of play. Fran Guerola showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 27th minute of the match. 28 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Åke Kilman came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 43 minutes into the match, Julian Murillo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Fran Guerola, 4-0. Fran Guerola made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 47th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Battal Gazi Bey stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, S O B E R A N O CIMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Fran Guerola reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fran Guerola took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the S O B E R A N O CIMZ defense, Julian Murillo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fran Guerola. The S O B E R A N O CIMZ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fran Guerola should have stopped the shot. S O B E R A N O CIMZ made a substitution. Dito Guedes replaced Battal Gazi Bey. Fran Guerola showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 65th minute of the match. Fran Guerola made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 66th minute of play. Rolando Noboa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eliézer de Queirós's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. 71 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Eliézer de Queirós came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A hard shot 76 in the game by Dito Guedes from a close distance when the talented Rolando Noboa managed to make a qualified save. Peru's players were relieved. In the 80th minute, Anthony Alvarado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. S O B E R A N O CIMZ made a substitution. Gildo Pontes replaced Christiano Amaral. Peru made a substitution. Antonio Tenorio replaced Luz Tejedor. In the 82nd match minute, Peru was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anthony Alvarado to maneuver through the defense. After 84 minutes Peru's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Thomas Kielland who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Thomas Kielland got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Rolando Noboa quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 87th minute Peru were awarded a corner. Eliseo Mina went to the cornerflag to take it. A well done corner resulted in Antonio Tenorio drilling the ball in to score 6-0 behind S O B E R A N O CIMZ's goalkeeper. Rolando Noboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dito Guedes, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Rafael Gallo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fran Guerola read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play. There was no doubt that Peru were the better team. Peru's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
