With 8 minutes on the clock, Arvils Smuksts commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in FK LOHATRONI fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 8th minute. Penalty! Zemgus Lovnieks sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 23 minutes, Moises Fernandino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. El Salvador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Moises Fernandino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Moises Fernandino managed to get in a good position for a shot. El Salvador's supporters rose to their feet, but Moises Fernandino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pāvils Ežkāja charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pāvils Ežkāja the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ainis Sudrabkalējs took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Moises Fernandino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A sloppy throw-in by Miervaldis Pumpiss in the 45th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by El Salvador's Valentino Ferrant. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valentino Ferrant in the 47th minute of play forced FK LOHATRONI's goalkeeper Ainis Sudrabkalējs to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 48 played minutes El Salvador got a freekick which was hit by Valentino Ferrant. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Moises Fernandino stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. FK LOHATRONI's Ainis Sudrabkalējs proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save FK LOHATRONI from getting a goal against them. After 58 minutes of play, El Salvador's Moises Fernandino made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ainis Sudrabkalējs was left in no man's land by his defense there! Balvis Korsaks received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Ricardo Zorita tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Voldemārs Piekalns's late challenge caught a El Salvador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Voldemārs Piekalns helped the player get up and apologised. Zemgus Lovnieks took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ricardo Zorita. Ricardo Zorita dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Ricardo Zorita showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zemgus Lovnieks in the 72nd minute of the match. Moises Fernandino hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Miervaldis Pumpiss took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 74th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ricardo Zorita. El Salvador's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Ainis Sudrabkalējs made an important save on a dangerous shot by Abram Luque in the 77th minute. In the 80th minute, Zemgus Lovnieks ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ricardo Zorita was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. When Moises Fernandino came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the El Salvador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Moises Fernandino couldn't finish the play. Balvis Korsaks sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. FK LOHATRONI's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
