Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Paraguay's Jaime Pardo started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After having played for 2 minutes, Jaime Pardo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Paraguay's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jaime Pardo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jaime Pardo in the 5th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arkadiusz Grajewski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Grzegorz Wodaszak during the 6th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Bartosz Chrzan kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Hector Covarrubias took the ball and in the 11 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Arkadiusz Grajewski. Arkadiusz Grajewski dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Arkadiusz Grajewski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jaime Pardo in the 16th minute of the match. The Paraguay fans' excitement grew in the 20th match minute when Paraguay's Jaime Pardo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hector Covarrubias in the 23rd minute of play forced Gortaty's goalkeeper Arkadiusz Grajewski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jaime Pardo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Arkadiusz Grajewski having to make a save. When the match clock showed 26 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Jaime Pardo sped through Gortaty's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Arkadiusz Grajewski. Jaime Pardo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 33rd match minute, Gortaty was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bartosz Chrzan to maneuver through the defense. Grzegorz Wodaszak hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. In the 37th minute Jaime Pardo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arkadiusz Grajewski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hector Covarrubias in the 40th minute of play forced Gortaty's goalkeeper Arkadiusz Grajewski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jaime Pardo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Arkadiusz Grajewski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Grzegorz Wodaszak was shown his second yellow card after 44 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The supporters of Paraguay booed when Gortaty was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Grzegorz Wodaszak didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cezary Mosiniak kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. After the first half Paraguay were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

A collision led to Gortaty getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Gustaw Basaik hit a great ball. Arkadiusz Grajewski didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jaime Pardo went, in the 53rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. Gustaw Basaik made in the 62nd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Remigiusz Kaczynski however managed to control. A collision led to Gortaty getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Remigiusz Kaczynski hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, Paraguay's Jaime Pardo tried to score from far away in the 64th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Arkadiusz Grajewski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jaime Pardo, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. In the 68th match minute, Gortaty was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Konstanty Chlapowski to maneuver through the defense. Arkadiusz Grajewski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jaime Pardo in the 71st minute. Jaime Pardo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The throw-in from Jose Sanz in the 75th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Gortaty's Remigiusz Kaczynski. In the 76th minute, Bartosz Chrzan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 80th minute, Hector Covarrubias ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Arkadiusz Grajewski was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. Paraguay's Jaime Pardo came free and shot a quick shot against goal 86 minutes in the game, fortunately Arkadiusz Grajewski had problems saving as it came toward the left post. In the 86th minute, Cezary Mosiniak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Konstanty Chlapowski fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gortaty's protests and gave Konstanty Chlapowski a yellow card for diving instead. Konstanty Chlapowski kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Jaime Pardo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arkadiusz Grajewski having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bartosz Chrzan during the 95th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 95 played minutes Gortaty got a freekick which was hit by Bartosz Chrzan.
