Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Corneliu Dridu started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Omid Kaulbach charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Omid Kaulbach the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Milagros Fraga in the 8th minute of play forced Dr Lecter SC's goalkeeper Celso Trevisan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Peru were awarded a corner in the 9th minute after Dr Lecter SC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Luz Tejedor took the corner. The corner led to Peru's Eliseo Mina getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Omid Kaulbach's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rolando Noboa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. In the 14thth minute of the game Julian Murillo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Dr Lecter SC's Celso Trevisan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Dieguinho de Medeiros kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Celso Trevisan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 21st minute of play. Luz Tejedor recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 32 played minutes Dr Lecter SC got a freekick which was hit by Mauro Romero. Rolando Noboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Corneliu Dridu, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Joaquin Prats during the 41st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Joaquin Prats hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Rolando Noboa made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Corneliu Dridu sent off a good shot on target. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Julian Murillo made a kick off. Julian Murillo scored 0-1 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Celso Trevisan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 58th minute of the game Dieguinho de Medeiros made a throw-in which Laércio Guedes played forward. The audience thought a goal was coming when Julian Murillo got free with Celso Trevisan in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rolando Noboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Corneliu Dridu, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Julian Murillo got free with Celso Trevisan in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 74th minute, Corneliu Dridu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rolando Noboa was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Dr Lecter SC's Celso Trevisan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luz Tejedor in the 78th minute of play. In the 80th match minute, Peru was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Milagros Fraga to maneuver through the defense. In the 81st minute, Milagros Fraga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ma Wei Jun got a throw-in 86 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Wanderson Fernandez. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Eliseo Mina managed to get in a good position for a shot. Peru's supporters rose to their feet, but Eliseo Mina was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Celso Trevisan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Peru booed when Dr Lecter SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ma Wei Jun didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dr Lecter SC's Celso Trevisan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save Dr Lecter SC from getting a goal against them.
