Battal Seyyit Bedel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 63 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Halil Can İhtiyar came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Agustín Saelices kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Kurfalı SK's Fedai Müftüoğlu got a free kick in the 67th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristian Sancho got free with Battal Seyyit Bedel in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cristian Sancho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Battal Seyyit Bedel made a huge save. Kia Irwansyah hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. The supporters of Kurfalı SK booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felix Montenegro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Semail Ercan's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. In the 80thth minute of the game Semail Ercan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 87 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Luis Andino. Halil Can İhtiyar might have been able to make a better finish in the 89th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Julio Vera. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Halil Can İhtiyar ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 91st match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felix Montes to maneuver through the defense. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Semail Ercan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Halil Can İhtiyar in the 95th minute of play. Kurfalı SK succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Ecuador had controlled the match.
