Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Tomas Berganza took the kick off in the first half of the match. The audience was convinced that Arturo Castronovo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marcos Cotilla was relentless in the 5th minute of the game. If Manuel Romano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Marcos Cotilla didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sílvio Luís do Nascimento went, in the 9th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. 24 minutes into the game, Arturo Castronovo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Marcos Cotilla was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 26th match minute, Panama was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matthew Garrido to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arturo Castronovo in the 27th minute of play forced Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Veritas's Aldo Crisantemo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Veritas from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Veritas's Manuel Romano got a free kick in the 32nd minute. If Isidoro Sarmiento had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Miguel Miralles recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sílvio Luís do Nascimento struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Marcos Cotilla didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Veritas. Marcos Cotilla didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Arturo Castronovo went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Panama's Marcos Cotilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manuel Romano in the 42nd minute of play. After 43 played minutes Veritas got a freekick which was hit by Carlo Colangelo. In the 46th minute, Arturo Castronovo made a precise shot to the right of Marcos Cotilla. Panama's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

51 minutes into the match, Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Arturo Castronovo. Florian Marchetti hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Panama's Marcos Cotilla got control of the ball when Arturo Castronovo tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Veritas's Beppe Rosetta got a free kick in the 59th minute. In the 61st minute, Jose Carita hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 64 minutes into the match, Panama's goal looked a bit too open when Arturo Castronovo came free, but Marcos Cotilla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Panama booed when Veritas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sílvio Luís do Nascimento didn't get a good kick on the ball. 72 minutes into the match, Tomas Berganza had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aldo Crisantemo. Veritas's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tomas Berganza was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. Veritas made a substitution. Aurelio Bassani replaced Carlo Colangelo. In the 82nd minute, Tomas Berganza left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Panama fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-4. Veritas made a substitution. Danilo Aguilera replaced Arturo Castronovo. Veritas made a substitution. Angelo Rocchetti replaced Florian Marchetti. Veritas's Aldo Crisantemo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abraham Alguacil in the 88th minute of play. After 88 minutes of play, Panama's Abraham Alguacil made it 3-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aldo Crisantemo was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 94th minute Tomas Berganza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aldo Crisantemo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Veritas walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
