Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Joel Gaona took the kick off in the first half of the match. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Apostolis Polychronopoulos in the 4th minute of play. Lautaro Mancebo succeeded in the game's 5th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-1. If Alberto Tafalla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dante Lacasa made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Phaiakes Paraskevopoulos sent off a good shot on target. Bogdan Lobonț made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luca Zorita in the 12th minute of play. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Apostolis Polychronopoulos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bogdan Lobonț made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 20th minute of play. In the 22nd match minute, FC NATIONAL was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Francileudo Faarø to maneuver through the defense. In the 25th minute Joel Gaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bogdan Lobonț saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC NATIONAL's goalkeeper Bogdan Lobonț, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Bogdan Lobonț took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Tafalla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 32 minutes FC NATIONAL's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Joel Gaona who took care of the corner kick. In the 33rd minute, Facundo Cadaval hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Joel Gaona blasted a shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bogdan Lobonț having to make a save. In the 41st minute Alberto Tafalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bogdan Lobonț saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FC NATIONAL's Bogdan Lobonț played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 43rd minute of play. After 45 minutes, Francileudo Faarø mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC NATIONAL and the Mexico players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 45th minute, Francileudo Faarø hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. FC NATIONAL's Bogdan Lobonț played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 46th minute of play. After the first half Mexico were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 52nd match minute, FC NATIONAL was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aiakos Karahalios to maneuver through the defense. Bogdan Lobonț made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 52nd minute. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Phaiakes Paraskevopoulos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Akestes Bentihavas in the 57th minute of play. FC NATIONAL's Bogdan Lobonț proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save FC NATIONAL from getting a goal against them. When the match had gone on for 61 minutes, Alberto Tafalla took a quick shot and it went in 0-5 without a chance for Bogdan Lobonț to make any attempt to save it. Bogdan Lobonț made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 64th minute of play. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Phaiakes Paraskevopoulos in the 70th minute of play. Bogdan Lobonț didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alberto Tafalla went, in the 71st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-6 was the resulting score. The supporters of Mexico booed when FC NATIONAL was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aiakos Karahalios didn't get a good kick on the ball. 78 minutes into the game, FC NATIONAL's Octavian Popescu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dante Lacasa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-6. Bogdan Lobonț showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Facundo Cadaval in the 80th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Lautaro Mancebo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mexico's supporters rose to their feet, but Lautaro Mancebo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bogdan Lobonț breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bogdan Lobonț was out of position in the 91 minute of play, and Joel Gaona capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Joel Gaona really showed his touch with that goal: 1-8. 95 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Iulian Miu came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match was over Mexico could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than FC NATIONAL throughout the match.
