Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when He Shu Xun took the kick off in the first half of the match. 3 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by He Shu Xun. In the 10thth minute of the game Cristian Sancho who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cavalerii Viola's Mugurel Puișoru was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Iván Győrfi came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Cavalerii Viola fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Iván Győrfi couldn't finish the play. 17 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Iván Győrfi came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iván Győrfi in the 18th minute of the match. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Mugurel Puișoru tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mugurel Puișoru took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 25 played minutes Cavalerii Viola got a freekick which was hit by Victor Pascaru. In the 26th match minute, Cavalerii Viola was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iker Galo to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when He Shu Xun got free with Julio Vera in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 34 minutes into the game, Felix Montenegro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ecuador's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cavalerii Viola the free kick. With 36 minutes on the clock, Felix Montes commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 35th minute, one of Ecuador:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Ecuador. Ecuador:s Julio Vera showed great skill when he stopped Iván Győrfi:s penalty. In the 39th minute, Cristian Sancho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. He Shu Xun in the 42ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Julio Vera, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cristian Sancho stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from He Shu Xun, who was totally free with the ball in the 50th minute. Cristian Sancho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victor Pascaru in the 53rd minute of play. Luis Andino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Cavalerii Viola's Mugurel Puișoru got control of the ball when Agustín Saelices tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iván Győrfi in the 69th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Julio Vera didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Iván Győrfi went, in the 69th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by He Shu Xun in the 71st minute of play. After some careless play in the Ecuador defense, He Shu Xun kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Julio Vera. The Ecuador fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Julio Vera should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Antonio Arias got a free kick in the 78th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling He Shu Xun in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 80 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when He Shu Xun came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cristian Sancho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mugurel Puișoru read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Luis Andino managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Luis Andino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mugurel Puișoru breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mugurel Puișoru made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 85th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Iván Győrfi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Iván Győrfi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 89 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when He Shu Xun came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 91st minute He Shu Xun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Many of Ecuador's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Ecuador may have spent more time on the ball, but Cavalerii Viola were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
